India, the hard-working tiger

Sometimes the key for becoming a leading nation is so obvious, that it is hard to believe. I have this feeling when I hear about India and its importat developement.

In this video from China Network Television, both motivations and high expectations of its entrepreneurs are well reflected, as well as India’s troubles relating inflation. It briefly informs that in 2010, inflation was well above 10 per cent for the first three quarters of the year and dropped to around 9 per cent only in the last quarter.

Despite the fact that India has not solved a large amount of problems yet -corruption, a high fiscal deficit, a failing education, inadequate infrastructures, problems in the agricultural sector, etc- it has also a remarkable number of good qualities. In my opinion, these are India’s greatest assets:

  • Natural potential to become a superpower.
  • Willpower and self-confidence to succeed and to play a decisive role.
  • A huge pool of entrepreneurs ready to lead India’s developement.
  • A collaborative government making the right decisions and setting a suitable legal context by creating liberisation policies, improving infrastructures, deregulating domestic business etc.
